KasumiLabs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FlashMind mobile application (the "Application"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.
FlashMind does NOT collect any personally identifiable information. All your flashcards, decks, study progress, and personal content remain on your device and are never transmitted to any external servers owned by us.

Your flashcards, study data, and personal content never leave your device and are not transmitted to any servers owned by KasumiLabs.
FlashMind offers an optional Community Decks feature that allows users to share and discover flashcard decks published by other users. This feature uses Google Cloud Firestore to store and retrieve shared decks.
What data is shared when you publish a deck?
Publishing is entirely optional. You are never required to share any decks. Your private decks, study progress, statistics, and personal preferences are never uploaded to the cloud. Only decks you explicitly choose to publish are shared.
What data is collected when you browse community decks?

The Application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to show you personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent preferences.
What data may AdMob collect?
GDPR Consent: For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the Application uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before displaying personalized advertisements. You can change your consent preferences at any time through the Application settings or by reinstalling the app.
Important: Your flashcards, study data, decks, and personal content are NEVER shared with ad networks. Only anonymous device and usage data is shared for the purpose of serving ads.
The Application offers an optional feature to scan text from books, notes, or printed materials using your device's camera to quickly create flashcards. This feature uses:

This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Application, the time and date of your use, crash logs, and other diagnostic information.
Important: Log Data does NOT contain your flashcards, study progress, deck content, or any personal content you have entered into the Application.
